He’s been crafting music in Portland, OR for the past few years and found his way to Philadelphia on a cold and snowy January evening. The trio rattled off a dozen or so songs to the delight of a packed room. Watching Tash Neal chop up new material off of Here Come The Girls, was fairly miraculous. Neal was seriously injured earlier this year in a car accident. He was near death and needed brain surgery to save his life. In the video below, watch the fully recovered Tash Neal open the Philly show with a guitar-heavy version of “She’s So Mad”.

I can see why – with great stage presence, fatty guitar riffs and some cool three part harmonies these guys are a band on the rise. Look for big things from these cats in 2013. Here is them doing a frisky little version of “Shark Attack” from the Blockley this past week.
